All of our candles come with care instructions on the bottom:

Before every use, keep wicks trimmed to ¼ inch.

Keep candles upright.  Our candles are made with the best quality gel available.  However, when kept on their side for an extended amount of time the gel may slide.  If this occurs, simply place your candle upright in a warm location (like an oven after use) and the gel will settle back into place.  Remember to center the wick.
